Ponte Nuovo

My humble opinion!

I'm not one to really be bothered to take the time to review a place I've eaten at. However I've been inspired by Ponte Nuovo. Never before have I had such awful food and been expected to pay for it! I had the mussels and clams with a tomato and herb sauce to start which basically tasted like steamed mussels,clams and tomatoes in a bowl of pond water. I let that go because the wine was nice and i was excited about the Calves liver with sage and white wine sauce I had ordered for my main. This excitement was abruptly brought to an end by the arrival of my plate of "food". The sauce was plentiful but completely devoid of any kind of flavour, most notably sage! And the calves liver was pale and unappetising, I can't be 100% sure as I've never tried it but I imagine it tasted a lot like liking the insides of a recently deceased cow! The Chef (If you can call them that) Obviously A. Doesn't taste his food. B.Can't taste his food. Or C. and probably more worrying tastes it and thinks it's alright to serve to paying customers.
In summary. Very Bad!
