I was all dressed up to got there for a party that night it snowed. The others who went said that it was great.

I have eaten in the pub several times now each time the food has been excellent and the service has been good and the staff friendly with a good knowledge of the food.

My friend also had a birthday party in February in the upstairs rooms, this was the first time the room upstairs had been let out, they had been newly decorated to a very high standard. The evening was a great success, the food was served in guests ib bowls and was excellent and there was plenty of it.
The management couldn't be more helpful and the price very reasonable per head for 50 people.

If you are looking for a venue that is relaxed in a classy sort of way this is the place. Top marks to The Spasrrowhawk.

Sparrowhawk

I have been to the Sparrowhark a lot and have always had a good time. Great service, excellent food and relaxing atmosphere.

Along with the Alma and White Hart, it is by far one of the best pubs in the area.

The Sparrowhawk Pub far from the worst in the area!

I am really surprised by the bad reviews the Sparrowhawk pub has received, I have never had anything but positive experiences on the times I have visited. The staff were polite and friendly and I found the atmosphere to be very relaxed. The last time I went for a friend's birthday management even allowed us to bring in our own cakes and not many pubs do that. I think your experience was an isolated one and does not reflect the usual service, staff or atmosphere... It is definitely not the worst pub ever!

An Unpleasant Experience

This is not the sort of pub that you go to for a good time. It has an uptight atmosphere, the staff are extremely hostile and I waited an extremely long time for the food to arrive and it was not worth the wait. Do not waste your money visiting this pub there are far better in the local area. Please take this review seriously I would not recommend this pub to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Worst Pub Ever

Service, staff, food (lack of it) make this pub extremely unpleasant. The staff were unwelcoming, hostile and generally verging on being rude. I strongly advise against anyone visiting this pub especially if you want something to eat.

The Sparrowhawk

Crystal Palace is renowned for their excellent pubs and The Sparrowhawk is no exception. This gastro like destination is classy and sophisticated and an excellent pub for enjoy lunch or dinner. The Sparrowhawk’s relaxing environment means you can enjoy a pint in excellent surroundings where even the bar snacks are presented with elegance.
