There is always something to do in Crystal Palace in the holidays and with Easter just around the corner here is a list of a few of the things you can do with your family and kids.
Crystal Palace Charity Funfair: Saturday 2nd - Sunday 17th April
The traditional Crystal Palace funfair returns to the parade this Easter, as always every holiday season the fair is back to entertain the kids, this year you can buy a wristband for £1 and all proceeds made will go to charity.
Bromely Charity Fun Run 2011: Sunday 10th April
The Bromley Fun Run is back on Sunday 10th April 2011, organised by Active Bromley, a partnership between Bromley Council and Bromley Mytime, with the aim of increasing participation in sports and physical activity across the borough.
Childrens Street Dance: March 23rd - December 22nd 2011
Diva Studios, Lewisham is offering street dance for children, taught by qualified instructor Reanonn, the fun classes are suitable for all and particularly shy children are looked after in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Ages 4 - 16 years. £4.40 per class. (Wednesdays: 4.30pm - 5.30pm & Saturdays: 12.30pm - 1.30pm.)
Adult Learners Week At The Horniman Museum
Experience the pleasure of discovering a new skill or interest with our informal free tasters and activities for Adult Learners Week. All events are for adults, admission is free and places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis 30 mins ahead of each session.
(Saturday 14th May: 1.15pm – 2pm: Sing with the leader of the Raise the Roof choir. 2pm – 2.45pm/3pm – 3.45pm: Salsa/Tango with Mandacaru Dance Theatre
Sunday 15th May: 3.15pm - 4pm: Learn African drumming with Nzinga Dance Ensemble.
Wednesday 18th May: 2pm - 3.30pm: Join the Trust for Urban Ecology for an adults-only tour of our fascinating early summer Nature Trail.)
Easter Craft & Community Fair: Saturday 9th April
Browse an array of arts and crafts including jewellery, clothes, books, gifts, cards, foods from cakes to artisan deli and organic treats for your pets; relax in the cafe or pampering zone; enjoy live entertainment or just pop in to learn more about some community activities. St John's Church, Penge from 1pm - 4pm.
