Players have been saved after a deal for Selhurst Park was agreed earlier today by CPFC and Lloyds Bank.
Hundreds of fans and trust members have been campaigning, all day, outside the headquarters of Lloyds Bank, after they were given till 3pm today to make a decision to save the club from extinction.
According to the BBC CPFC administrator, Brendan Guilfoyle had called on the PM to intervene and Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell, had appealed to Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne to help the club.

This is really terrific news. I'd add that it now seems that we haven't (yet) lost Ambrose to QPR. All in all it looks like the Consortium really know what they are doing, playing hardball with the Banks and winning so that they don't have to give up a share of future profits.
