Why a peace concert? if I remember back to last year August, I'd never been more unsure of our future than during the days of the riots. I'd say i'm a brave person having fought my way through life, through bullying and avoiding the prison cell. Many of my contemporaries were less fortunate. As a student of criminology now, I have a better insight into the situations I faced and those faced by many of our youth today. This is why I am driven to make changes to counter the imbalance that our society produces so very often. We need to remember the importance of peace, experience a world without fear, if even for one day. Was I afraid during the riots? Well it gave me a bitter taste and a cold terror every time a moped tore down my road and a helicopter flew overhead. "Remember, remember the 5th of November". Let us remember what we don't want and support what we do.

I believe a peace concert powered by the people will show how much we want to live in a peaceful environment and demonstrate to the younger generations our love for them and our desire to create a better future for all.

If we fail, at least we tried.
