The council would like to get rid of the Park Rangers in Crystal Palace Park because of cutting costs in their budgets.

I think the Park Wardens do a really valuable job and it would be awful to think what kind of place the park would become without the rangers patrolling.

They need more signatures and quickly due to the council trying to get this decision through quickly there isn't much time!

Thanks for bringing the issue to our attention about the park. I think the park would be a less safe, clean and otherwise nice environment for kids and those many and varied people who use the park if the staff lost their jobs.

I will be going to park cafe to sign the petition and would hope all posters here do too.

I will definitely be adding my signature to the petition, dog waste bins are also set to be scrapped, which will make a walk or picnic in the park decidedly more unpleasant. It's such a shame the little things that make Crystal Palace a much nicer and safer place to live, are no longer considered important. These government and council cuts are out of control and it is completely unjust that local residents and honest, hardworking taxpayers must suffer as a result.
