    A man's died after coming home and finding that his home had been burgled.  The 67-year-old was taken ill after entering the property on Beckford Road yesterday.  A post mortem will take place later today.  Next of kin have been informed.  Croydon CID believe the burglary took place from between 11.30am and 7pm yesterday.  They're not treating the death as suspicious.  Anyone with information is...

  • Fire at The Grange Pub on Norbury Road started on purpose?

    An investigation's been started after the Grange Pub caught light yesterday afternoon.  A small part of the derelict pub was damaged and no one was injured.  It's believed the fire was started on purpose.  The Met police have now started an investigation. Two fire engines from West Norwood and Norbury fire stations were at the scene. The London Fire Brigade are also investigating what happened.
