Officers have released CCTV images of four men they want to speak to after the machine was attacked on the evening of Sunday, 13 January.

The four are believed to have travelled to or have links to the Middlesex area.

Detective Constable Rachel Smith said: "Initially, the suspects attempted to break into the ticket vending machine on one of the platforms."

"They then gained access to the booking office and tried to open the safe but were unsuccessful, and fled from the station a short while after breaking in.

No items were stolen during the burglary and they did not succeed in breaking into the cash machine.

DC Smith added: "The damage left by these vandals extremely costly to the railway,"

"I'd urge anyone who recognises the men, or who has any information about the incidents, to contact us as soon as possible."
