Players are urging generous fans to support not only the team over the Christmas fixture list, but also an appeal by the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.
The charity is looking for donations over the festive period, when many of its volunteers give up their own family Christmas to care for those suffering from terminal cancer, enabling them to spend what could be their last Christmas at home.
Every £20 raised will provide one hour of vital nursing care, at no cost to the patient or their family.
Anyone wishing to make a donation should call the fundraising office on 01883 832648.
