Police in Croydon have released an image of a woman who they'd like to speak to in connection to an address in Grove Road Thornton Heath on Sunday, 11 November.

Police were called at approximately that day to reports of a fire where a woman in her 40s and three children suffered smoke inhalation.

They were taken to hospital but later discharged.

Police and fire investigators believe that the fire was started deliberately and officers from the CID on Croydon borough are investigating the arson.

Det Con Eric Somerville, from the CID, who is investigating the case said: "We're very keen to identify who this person is so that we can progress with our enquiries."

"The fire could have had devastating effects so we would urge anyone with information to contact us immediately."

Anyone who may recognise the person should contact Crimestoppers, which is completely anonymous on 0800 555 111, quoting the reference number 110020.
